Hi Kenny. My friend and I were possibly interested in modding CoH. My friend is one of the original coders from Desert Combat and Desert Combat: Realism, along with some Operation Flashpoint. I did some light coding, balancing and ideas (yeah, everyone has those, lol).

Wanted to see where you were going with this and how far along. We're not really interested in being "under" anyone, but a joint effort. If we're going the same direction, we could possibly link up and get some work done.

His brother is a good quality modeler (did a lot of Battlefield and DC models). Don't have any skinners sad.gif
Good animator would be needed, too, but neither one of us is really good at that. I have some old contacts that may be able to animate.

Anyway, contact me back if you want to talk about this. Good luck smile.gif

Post some examples of your work, so we can see how they look, if your not interested in becoming a full-fledged member of the team we will basically, on seeing that you can do good work, mask you to see another forum with a list of models that still need to be done at some point, and you can work at your own rate.
We can use modelers, skinners would be better, and animators are something we really need lol

How goes the code work? I know its script based for the most part. Seems that the models MAY be able to be converted. So previous high quality models from a different game that we made might be able to just take a conversion and lose a little quality, but stay intact.

The coding is mostly lua
We arent converting models cause then you run into copyright issues, as a lot of companies dont like when you use their models for a different game's mod

Actually, they're our custom models. We're made for various mods and mini-mods, but I'm still unclear if it will work even or not. If it does, hopefully, we technically have the copyright since we modeled them.

Well, let me know when you find out more info, or decide what you want, and post a couple renders
