I was wondering if the gameplay is going to be improved as their are quite
some things from CoH that (I think) can be improved:

Scale
It seems to me that their are way too much units compared to the size
of the map. Firing range seems to be too short.

Spam
Even though CoH is more tactical then most strategy games it
seems to me that it is still pretty much about spamming units.

Unfair command tree advantages
Some command trees have vehicles which do not cost any fuel which I think is unfair
to the rescoure system.

Other things that I think would make CoH much more fun are mobile buildings so bases
can't be barraged with artillery all the time and things that I found to be irritating are
invisible units and buildable defences.

That's what I think. So are there going to be any gameplay changes from the orginal game?

Then I got another question: on what kind of maps is there going to be focused?

I personnaly think that it should focus mostly if not only on 1v1 and 2v2.

Hey
Thank you for your interest.

I can tell you, that we try to improve the gameplay as much as possible. Balance is our main focus, while we try to keep things realistic. If things need to be diffrent than reality to balance things out, then we will do that.

I don't see the problem with spam being that dominant in games of higher skill. Unit preservation, tactical movement and the right combination of units is the key to be successive. This is what we want to conserve in our mod.

The ideas you bring up, like moving bases, are actually part of our plan. The US tier buildings will be tents, that can be unbuilt to gain back parts of the resource investment. so you are not forced to stay, where you settled down.

For the maps, we are of course flexible. I for my self will stick to the creation of 1vs1 and 2vs2 maps. But if we get someone who volunteers to produce a good 3vs3 map, then we won'T stop him =)
Balance will be done in the 1vs1 and 2vs2 matchup though, cause that's where the competitive part is at...

I hope my answeres helped you a bit =) Thanks for your input again. Keep it coming
